Time to do Advent...
Thw Woolies are Worshipping want to be sure we do our Advent today. It looks like they discovered that the animal did not get moved on the Noah's Ark Advent calendar. We are really enjoying using the Jesse Tree Journey along with our Advent calendar this year and the Woolies are Worshipping have added a whole element of adventure. Tonight we will light two candles and watch as the light grows in anticipation of Jesus' birth.
O come, o come Emmanuel

Woolies hugging Papa and Gogo
Zoiks! We lost the camera for a bunch of days so we couldn't post any pictures. Not to worry... you did not miss any of the Woolies are Worshipping adventures (in case you have been on pins and needles waiting to see what they would do next). In addition to not having the camera, we have been mighty busy this week helping friends.
The Woolies are currently in the Christmas tree hugging on some very special ornaments. The red, white and green angel was lovingly left on Papa's pillow after he went to Heaven. Angels took him and left the angel on his pillow for us to find (Angels Mortuary, that is) Actually the fact that Angels came to take Papa away made it easy for us to share with the kids in the morning when they woke and saw that he was no longer here with us. Gosh, that was back in 2005 and the kids were so small. The white angel was also from Angels because Papa died on December 19th right before Christmas and they had a beautiful tree set up for families to come and select a special angel. Gogo joined Papa in Heaven on the 4th of July this year. We are sure that Papa would want to share the special angels with her, so now one angel represents Gogo and one angel represents Papa. I will share with you that I hung up those angels side by side as we were decorating the tree and I broke down and cried. It was very emotional for all of us.
The Woolies are hugging tightly to Gogo and Papa right there on our Christmas tree... so very special!
